June 29, 2005
Although the enactment of the Amended Rules on E-discovery remains at least a year away, they are already influencing e-discovery practice and record retention policies. And the fallout from the Arthur Andersen and Morgan Stanley decisions is only beginning to be felt. This stimulating 75 minutes of panel dialogue was followed by a 15-minute open mike question and answer session. The "Rules Tomorrow, Guidance Today" audio event discussed the state of the federal rules amendment proposals in light of the Standing Committee's action on June 16, and the impact of the Arthur Andersen and Morgan Stanley decisions. This was the third in a series of Audio Update Programs presented by The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production. The panel was led by Working Group Chair Jonathan Redgrave (Jones Day), and included Monica Latin (Carrington Coleman) and Charles R. Ragan (Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP). Who Attended:
